Now these things come in kits, it has a knock off stick and unbranded buttons, 8 medium 1 small, my smalls are on the sides for pinball games.ĭue to this being a d input device, you will need something like antimicro to translate the inputs to keyboard for some games, a negligible issueįrom here you can buy 4 or 5 more buttons and make it into a hitbox, and even without muscle memory hitboxes are better than dpads to the point I would argue using one of those over low quality controllers. My stick is built with a zero delay, now one moron, and the only person I know for a fact tested it, had no idea that a 60hz monitor and a non slow mo camera is not capable of showing him response times less then 16/17ms, so there may be 1 frame of delay, or 16ms, or less, as its never, to my knowledge, been properly tested The thing with sticks is this, you are never meant to hit the 'gate' you are meant to play around inside it, and if you are doing that correctly, there is no amount of abuse or durability problems even with a cardboard enclosure.

Thats my fight stick, built in the amazon cardboard box it came with. my stick actually has a HAYABUSA stick and levers, but those are compatable with the sanwa format. oh i know, it's like no more than $8 for an octagonal gate for me.

It's about half price of famous makers stick but supported many platforms.Įlite version has Sanwa parts. If your stick does not have Sanwa lever, I think most of the case you can replace.įor first time purchase fight stick, I'd recommend MayFlash F300 Elite or F500 Elite. It is also convenient to use 4 way for like Tetris or PacMan. It really help to confirm diagonal directions (1,3,7,9). If your stick has Sanwa lever, you can replace with 8 way gate plate. there are a bunch of sticks out there that are overpriced garbage.

When it comes to sticks, you need to shop around, and check out reviews of the components. it's basically outlived 2 regular controllers, and the only problem i've ever had is that i kinda dont like the square gate that the stick came with. Originally posted by Dr Gori:i cant speak for anyone else, but my $200 stick has taken far more abuse than my 360-style controllers.
